DIY Nursery Art & Decor Accents
For those of you looking for a simple and affordable way to add some fun accents to your baby’s nursery but don’t want to commit to the hard work and expense of creative paint projects or wall paper, I’d like you to meet Courtenay. This mom-to-be (and her husband Chris) have quite enough do-it-yourself tasks on their hands already in renovating their little guy’s room without adding anything else to that list. So I just love what an impact she made in their in-progress space with these easy projects — a nursery bunting and fabric wall art. (These would also make really cute and personalized baby shower gifts!)
I love her selection of fabrics, mixing traditional colors and patterns with trendier ones. Here are the OnlineFabricStore fabrics she used:
Premier Prints Zig Zag Chartreuse/White Fabric
Premier Prints Zig Zag Blue Twill Fabric
Navy Blue Gingham Fabric – 1/4″
Navy Blue Gingham Fabric – 1″
Premier Prints Stripe Coastal Green Slub Fabric
Premier Prints Ikat Dots Primary Red/Natural Fabric
Check out her full wall art tutorial here and DIY nursery pennant / bunting banner post here.
Such cute ideas! I can’t wait to try some out!
Let us know if you do! Would love to see!
love the canvases with the letters.
Love these ideas. It’s always great to add a personal, customized touch to a nursery!
Personal is good, agreed Kelly! 🙂
What size are your lower case letters and what craft store did you find them at?
Hi Amanda, we provided the fabric for this project but it was done by Creek Line House. The original post can be found here: http://creeklinehouse.com/2013/10/our-baby-boy-has-nameand-nursery-has.html
