The fabric cork board I’m gong to make involves no sewing or stapling, making it fun and easy. For displaying options, you can hang the cork board, or place it against a wall. They’re great for tacking notes or pictures to.

Step 1: Cut the batting and fabric

Measure and cut out a 19 inch by 15 inch rectangle on the wrong side of the fabric. Use the pinking shears to help prevent fraying. Measure and cut a 12 and 1/2 inch by 16 and 1/2 inch rectangle out of the batting.

Step 2: Glue the fabric

With the fabric facing right side down, place the batting on the fabric and center it. Place the cork board on top of the batting. Fold the sides up and glue along the edges. Tuck the corners in towards the center, fold up, and glue.

Step 3: Cut & glue the ribbon

Take the spool of ribbon, start from a corner, and measure 8 inches in. Make sure you’re including the width of the cork board when measuring. Add an extra 2 to 3 inches and cut. Cut 3 more strips of ribbon the same length. Place the four strips of ribbon 8 inches in from all four corners. Glue the ends of the ribbon to the back of the cork board.
