Instructions

Step 1: Cut out the pattern & fabric pieces

Print and cut out the pattern. Use the pattern to cut 1 piece of the main fabric and 1 piece of the lining fabric.

Cut the seam allowance off of the pattern. Use this smaller pattern piece to cut out 2 pieces of the fusible interfacing.

Step 2: Create the main piece & lining piece

Fuse the interfacing to the wrong side of the main and lining pieces.

Sew a 1 inch piece of Velcro about 1/2 an inch from the bottom of the right side of the main fabric. Sew a 1 inch piece of the opposite side of the Velcro 1/2 inch from the top of the right side of the lining fabric.

Step 3: Sew together

Place the pieces together with right sides facing. Sew with a 1/4 inch seam allowance leaving a 3-4 inch gap.

Turn right side out through the opening and poke out the corners.

Fold the edges of the opening in and press. Topstitch around the entire piece.

Fold the bottom up 3-4 inches up from the bottom and iron.

Sew along both sides backstitching at both ends.
