Instructions

Step 1: Clean your Shoes

For any treatment you will want to stuff the shoes with paper so they hold their shape and brush all the visible dirt off them with a brush.

Also clean them using whatever method is best for that type of shoe.

Step 2: Application

Rust-oleum Never Wet for boots and shoes is great for work boots, tennis shoes, dress, and casual shoes. It is also ideal for leather, nubuck, and canvas shoes. Do not shake the Neverwet bottle before use.

Max Pro Heavy Duty Water and Stain Repellent is a great choice for leather, camping gear, furniture, clothing, auto upholstery and shoes. You will want to shake this bottle well before use.

Hold the bottle 6-12 inches away from the surface of the shoe and test an inconspicuous area before spraying the entire shoe.

Don’t soak the shoe or allow the spray to puddle. Use these products outside or in a well-ventilated area.

It should be warmer than 50 degrees outside and not too windy.

Have a cloth handy to rub away any bubbles or irregular spray patterns.

Allow the shoe to dry for 24 hours before exposing it to water.

These products can be used on most any shoes, but still always check an inconspicuous spot for colorfastness. For best results, reapply annually but in the meantime, enjoy your weatherproofed shoes.
