Upholstery Green Rayon & Viscose Blend Fabric: Challis, Jersey & Linens

Rayon and viscose are both types of synthetic fibers that are made from natural sources such as wood pulp, cotton linter, or bamboo. They are known for their soft, smooth, and lustrous feel, and are often used to make clothing, bedding, and home decor items. Rayon and viscose are often blended together in fabric because they both have similar properties and are made from similar materials. By blending the two fibers together, manufacturers can create fabrics that have a combination of the properties of both fibers. For example, a rayon-viscose blend fabric may be softer and more comfortable to wear than a fabric made from 100% rayon, but still have the drape and luster of rayon. Blending rayon and viscose can also allow manufacturers to create fabrics with a desired weight or drape. Adding a small amount of viscose to a rayon fabric may make the fabric feel heavier or more substantial, while adding a small amount of rayon to a viscose fabric may make the fabric feel lighter or more flowy. Overall, blending rayon and viscose can create fabrics that have a balance of properties and are suitable for a variety of applications.
