Cheesecloth is one of the most versatile fabrics around. Use it in the kitchen as a strainer for sauces and gravy, or use it as a craft material. Cheesecloth is perfect for light wafting curtains for the theatre and it makes the perfect Halloween ghost. Cheesecloth fabric is also ideal as a cleaning cloth since it is absorbent and virtually lint-free. Grade 50 Cheesecloth is lighter than the 90 Grade Cheesecloth, but at 28 x 24 threads per square inch, it has a tighter weave than Grade 10 Cheesecloth. Cheesecloth is also often used with wool batting to prevent bearding in quilts. This cheese cloth is exceptional for cooking, cleaning, and costumes.
