Here are 3 different ways that you can make linen napkins. Each napkin has a different finish along the edges giving them different looks to add to your table decor.
Measure and cut a 20 by 20 inch square of linen fabric. Iron the fabric. Stitch around all the sides of the fabric with a 1/2 seam allowance. Pull out some of the horizontal threads at the edges to give it a frayed look.
Folded Napkin
Measure and cut a 20 by 20 inch square of linen fabric. Iron the fabric. Fold the ends in a 1/2 inch and iron. Fold the ends in another 1/2 inch and iron again. Stitch around the sides.
Serged Napkin
Measure and cut a 20 by 20 inch square of linen fabric. Iron the fabric. Serge the edge sand cut off the loose threads at the corners.
