Step 2: Cut out the fabric

Using the template cut the largest bunny shape out of the burlap. Cut two pieces of broadcloth out of the medium sized bunny.  Also cut a 12” strip of ribbon.

Step 3: Sew together

Pin the pieces of broadcloth together. Also, place the 12” of ribbon and place it in between the fabrics with about an inch sticking in each ear.  Sew around the edge of the bunny using a 1/4” seam allowance. Leave an opening at the bottom of the bunny so you can stuff it.

Pin the burlap to the stuffed bunny and sew around the edges of the broadcloth again so the burlap is secured to the front.

Step 4: Stuff the bunny

Fill the bunny with polyester stuffing.

Step 5: Closing the final edge

Sew closed the remaining edge of the bunny.

Step 7: Finishing touches

Sew a bow onto your bunny and add any other decorations. See our 5 ways to tie a bow tutorial for details.

Step 3: Make the pom poms

Make tulle pom poms for your banner. See our 5 ways to tie a bow tutorial for details.

Step 4: Sew together

Using a needle and twine, sew alternating bunnies and pompoms. Sew through both ears of each bunny starting from the backside of the burlap.
