This furniture spring cover material by Hanes is a non-woven fabric made of 100% polypropylene fibers and is used as a layer of protection from springs and webbing in sofas, chairs, benches, and ottomans. It is 40" in width and is lightweight at 1.3 oz per square yard making it easy to work with. It is most often tacked or stapled to the frame of a furniture piece in a quality upholstery job or a DIY upholstery project. It will protect the foam, fabric, and stuffing from the harmful effects of dust and other airborne matter.
