Instructions

Step 1: Cut the leaves & stem

Fold the felt in half and cut a half heart. I’m making hearts about 3 inches long and 3 inches wide.

Snip off about 3/4 of an inch at the bottom.  Repeat this step 2 more times for a total of 3 leaves.

Fold the felt in half and cut out a stem. My stem is 2 and 1/2 inches long and wider at the bottom.

Step 2: Sew & glue together

Fold all 3 leaves in half. Fold the stem and place it inside the fold of the second leaf.

You can glue here instead of sewing, but the thread will hold it together better.

Hand sew through the bottom of all 3 leaves as many times as needed for a secure stitch. Double knot and snip off the thread.

Unfold the leaves and glue the side leaves to the center leaf. The felt shamrock is now finished.
