How to Make a No Sew Oilcloth Mouse Pad

If your mouse pad is looking dingy or just plain boring, it’s quick and easy to give it new life with oilcloth. There’s plenty of fun patterns and colors to choose from. The great thing about oilcloth is it’s super easy to wipe off so it will never get stained. You can also use faux leather vinyl if you prefer that look.
Materials
- Oilcloth
- Spray Adhesive
- Scissors
- Mouse pad or cork

Instructions
Step 1: Cut the oilcloth
You could also use a sheet of cork instead of a mouse pad and cut it to the size and shape you want.
Cut out a section of the oilcloth that’s a little larger than the mouse pad.
Step 2: Attach the oilcloth
If the edges start to peel up after a while, hot glue a thin bead under the edges.
Make sure you’re in a well-ventilated space or outside when using spray adhesive. Cover anything you don’t want to get sticky.
Spray the multi-purpose spray adhesive on the back of the oilcloth or the top of the mouse pad. Place the mouse pad on top facing down and press.
Step 3: Trim around the edges
Oilcloth doesn’t fray, so you don’t have to wrap it around the back as you would with other fabric.
Cut the oilcloth close to the edges of the pad, and your new and improved mouse pad is complete.
