This deck cover from Hanes is a light tan color perfect for use on those projects that have a light wood frame and/or are upholstered in a light colored fabric. Deck cover, also referred to as decking or platform cloth, is used in upholstery projects as a platform under the seat cushion to give the furniture a finished appearance and to provide a spot for the cushion to rest upon. Since the deck or platform is not often visible, using deck cover is also budget friendly. It eliminates the need to use expensive fabric for this portion of the furniture piece, and who doesn't like saving a little money? Especially when it doesn't mean sacrificing quality!
