Dip dyed tapestry's can be pretty expensive online, especially if you are looking for something personalized. So, today, I am going to show you how to make your own. These tapestries can be made any shape, color, or size. You can use a dowel for a more classic look or a tree branch for something more natural. I also thought it would be really pretty to use a necklace to hang them from the wall but I just used twine and that worked well.

The first of many. Our much anticipated Brimfield Flea Market Finds. This footstool was a diamond in the rough with a super fake looking vinyl cover, but I loved the classic modern mid century look. I also was able to pick it up for $15, which is a total steal in the world of antique furniture. In terms of reupholstery, this piece is just about as basic as it gets, which was perfect for my first full renovation project.

There's this really interesting phenomena that has always fascinated me until I finally decided to ask the old interweb how it's done. Braided products that don't have any open ends or seams. The internet, per usual, came up with the answer right away and it was actually 100 times easier than I expected. So, I am going to show you how it's done. Sit back, relax, and get ready to have your mind blown.

The great outdoors. What a wonderful place to set up camp and make a living space. Recently, we got a picnic table at work and I am pumped to be able to take my lunch outside but it is under one of the biggest trees on the lot so it could be in shade. And I like the shade, but so do the birds. To spare you the details the table gets pretty gross between the birds and the pollen.

So I have a lot of plants. It's almost a problem but I choose not to worry to much about it because I really love my plants. That being said though, I was running out of windowsill space and needed to come up with something that would give my babies that needed more sun a real leg up. That's what sparked the idea for a Faux Leather hanger. I know what you're thinking – 'that's genius' it's natural, it's classy looking, and its surprisingly sturdy.

Bags. If it isn't painfully obvious, we love them over here at OFS. I probably have a bag for every day of the month and guess what- I am not done creating more. Enter the Slouchy Backpack. Debatably the king of all bags, this one gets bonus points because it can be tied as a backpack and an over the shoulder bag.

Knotted throw pillows are a really fun way to bring a little texture and a funky look to your decor. They're really easy to make so even beginner sewers can make a few for themselves and their friends. Any stretchy material can be used to make these guys and you can make them in a variety of different ways. We made ours into a Celtic knot but there are hundreds of really cool knots out there that would make great knotted pillows.

After a fun night at the arcade, I came home with a very cool night light that was plastic but was in the shape of a balloon animal and as I sat looking at him in all his cuteness I thought – what if I made a balloon animal that was actually a stuffed animal. These guys are not only a great gift for birthdays, baby showers, or holidays but also are super fun to make and loved by adults and children alike. In this tutorial I will show you how to make a dog but if you want to make any other animals, there are tons of videos online about making balloon animals, just use the same tie method every time they twist the balloon, we found a tutorial for an elephant, dinosaur, and added a unicorn horn to a dog for this cute little guy. Whatever you try, send us a picture to media@onlinefabricstore. com.

My dog has a favorite spot in between a couch and side table where she goes to feel safe. Her joints are getting bad so we wanted to give her a dog bed here. It has to be a specific size that would be impossible to find in a store, so I'm making my own! The removable cover is washable and has a simple Velcro closure that's easier to put in than a zipper. It's made with outdoor fabric and outdoor foam, both of which are durable and prevent mildew and odor.

Summer is upon us and I am ready for hammock and camping season to begin! That being said, I already have a bug bite on my pinkey toe so I am living in a constant state of discomfort. That's why I set out on a mission to make a net for my hammock. The task was simple, make a net that was as easy to set up and store as the hammock itself. The result, you can see for yourself (is AWESOME)
